S13, Ep. 7: Sasha
Sasha was born in Virginia in 1990 and adopted through The Barker Foundation.
She grew up an only child with wonderful adoptive parents. They always knew searching for Sasha's birth family was going to be part of the process.
Her curiosity about finding someone who looked like her fueled the search.
Sasha found her birth mother in 2013 and ended up meeting her and a brother.
Ultimately, she forged a relationship with her sisters through Ancestry.com. This turned out to be the piece of her that was missing. Having sisters has been everything she hoped.
Sasha recently became a mother and is navigating the emotions and feelings that come with having a biological kid of her own. So far, it's been an enlightening and fulfilling experience.
